Carlin on Civil War
I would much rather listen to him than a bunch of progressives on Twitter pretending that they knew yesterday when Andrew Jackson died.

“Many women are also forced to prostitute themselves, not because of financial circumstances, but because they fear violence against themselves or their families, if they try to escape.”
…
“”The trauma is really so deep,” says Cecilia Flores-Oebanda, the director of the Visayan Forum Foundation, an organization that cares for recued girls. “They wake up in the middle of the night screaming and crying because they are so afraid the trafficker will come again. Sometimes one of the kids suddenly gets sick and vomits. Our psychologist said it’s because she remembers what these guys on the Internet asked her to do.””
…
“Often that wasn’t enough for paying customers on the other side of the sex chat room. For $27 an hour, anyone could tell the girls what to do, and a man behind the camera would make sure they did it.”
“The girls told of men coming in off the street and the girls having to perform sexual acts. Animals were sometimes involved. And perverts took deranged pleasure in watching the girls suffer these terrible abuses.”
“”Sometimes we had to urinate,” says the girl in the middle. Her friend to the right adds: “The urine is mixed with juice as a drink.””
“”That’s what the American client wants. He demands anyone who feels like urinating should do so, but that he wants us to do it in front of the camera.””
“I asked the children what they think about Americans.”
“”You’re maniacs,” one of the girls says, sharply. “You need to stop victimizing girls like us.””

Again, if you guys want to do a guest post summarizing your position, email me at rpm@consultingbyrpm.com. I’m letting this comment stand, so you can see my reply. Going forward I am zapping these as I catch them.
Bob, you have the patience of a saint. That or you just really, really want to be spared a reply that begins with “LIBERTARIANS BELIEVE IN CENSORSHIP!” đ
And yet you let the pro-slavery, pro-war people on this cesspool of a blog make fun of torture victims, advocate for drinking the blood of abolitionists, advocate for deliberately buying from enslavers, call abolitionists commies, say that slavery is actually “voluntary transactions between willing parties without government interference”, say that people who cross imaginary borders deserve to be enslaved, etc.
I guess pro-slavery and pro-war advocacy isn’t disruptive to a pro-slavery, pro-war blog.
LIBERTARIANS FOR SLAVERY! LIBERTARIANS FOR WAR! LIBERTARIANS FOR TORTURE!
By the way, here are our demands.

That’s the thing that kills me about all these critiques. Instead of saying “leaving aside the potential flub on history…” and then discussing the merit behind whether the civil war was necessary, or if there is any evidence behind the idea that Andrew Jackson would’ve opposed it, most of these people simply google the date of Jackson’s death and focus on that. And the people that try to make this into him being pro-slavery are the worst of the lot. Like they’re sooo brave for saying out loud that they’re against slavery, as if that is a controversial position to take nowadays. They think everyone is some secret Nazi, KKK, white nationalist, vampire zombie and wonder why people think they’re nuts.
They also think that America is the only country on earth to ever have slavery as part of its history.
Richie, who are “they”, and do you have any evidence for that assertion?
This is the only time I will reply, so any other replies from you will be a waste of keyboard strokes: I am NOT going to play your game. Bye bye.
