To quote Bob Higgs “The little bands of libertarians will squander their energies, feuding with their fellows and arguing about not-so-pressing issues in lifeboat ethics.” Libertarians argue over the pettiest crap. I don’t want to start a war in the comments but I never understood the fascination people have with the Beatles. Oh, and Bob I started reading your P.I.G. book the other day…..a fun read so far.
Wait a second… You complain about people arguing about petty crap, and then without even a paragraph-break you criticize the Beatles? I think that’s a performative contradiction.
Does your kid like them?
I never really got them either.
Someone said to get the kiddiest songs from bands you can tolerate is the key to sanity.

F.A. Hayek’s Constitution of Liberty is, surprisingly and distressingly, an extremely bad, and, I would even say, evil book.14 Since Hayek is universally regarded, by Right and Left alike, as the leading right-wing intellectual, this will also be an extremely dangerous book.

Hayek rests his case for his principles not on individual rights or welfare, but on “social” considerations:
society is better off if some people discover things, etc. So that individual “liberty” is only a grant from

That is why I consider this such a dangerous book and why I believe that right-wingers should attack this book with great vigor when it appears, instead of what I am sure they will do: applaud it like so many trained seals. For (1) Hayek attacks laissez-faire and attacks or ignores the true libertarians, thus setting up the “even Hayek admits . . .” line; …
Libertarian’s *don’t* have to be united; They just have to want to leave other people alone.
These “in-house” battles are good for us to have.
I highly recommend this Beatles Box Set of everything from 2009. The “remastering” is excellent with the guitars toned down, the bass turned up and the instruments separated. However, the CDs are in the format of the original English LPs. Since I know the US LPs by heart in proper order, I found it necessary to reconfigure the entire box in chronological folders for each US LP, each in proper order. You too?
