Will you look at the Japanese system?
Also, what about what about the stuff Michael Moore brought up in his movie? Will any of that be covered? Thank you.
I will possibly look at Japan, but not Michael Moore’s movie (since I haven’t seen it).
Bob,
Maybe you had some restrictions on messaging because this is tied to the Mises Institute but I just wanted to offer an observation: you’re a really funny, entertaining personality and I know that even in your Academy courses you have fun and crack jokes and such. This spot came off as more sterile and dry, it didn’t capture for me the valuable levity of learning about Serious Stuff with Bob Murphy.
In the future, maybe you would consider putting more of your personal pizzazz in these things. You’re not JUST going to teach people about Obamacare… you’re going to have a lot of fun, doing it, too. And fun is important!
Fair enough, valueprax.
Thanks for the reminder, Bob. I just registered.
Question – Do we need to read this week’s material prior to the class on Wednesday?
I’ve taken previous courses with Murphy on MA, and always found it helpful to have at least skimmed through the material prior to watching the lecture.
Josh, normally it helps to read the material first, but since people always sign up last-second, I never expect that for the first lecture.
Thanks Bob!
Matt — I actually have attended a few of Dr. Murphy’s Mises courses, they’re great!
You mean you’re actually supposed to read that stuff???
I’d love to sign up for this, but I’m a little worried about missing the lectures. Will I be able to stream recorded lectures anytime, or will they only be streamed in real time?
Yes you can watch anytime. They are recorded.
