Dr. M,
When you embed videos on your blog, could you make sure they don’t play automatically? Otherwise the video (with sound) starts every time someone goes to your page until the video post scrolls off the bottom.
Thx! Love the blog.
It’s not happening with me (I am using opera).
Likewise.
But it’s not showing for me, as I’m in Canada.
Yeah daily show clips get snipped in Canada. Sometimes though they put up a special funny custom error message.

Barber of Seville, or Don Giovanni?
Trappola della liquidità.
I’d have bet on Der Freischutz ….
I don,t really like that one skylien. It goes on forever, the ticket prices keep going up, and I find its logic hard to follow. And that aria by Paulo the tenor is just the same thing over and over. And he repeats it so often.
You have point.
🙂
Bob Murphy,
in this old post:
http://consultingbyrpm.com/blog/2012/01/future-generations-will-be-indebted-to-me-for-the-clarity-of-this-exposition.html
you stated that this post by Nick Rowe: http://worthwhile.typepad.com/worthwhile_canadian_initi/2011/12/debt-is-too-a-burden-on-our-children-unless-you-believe-in-ricardian-equivalence.html, on government debt being a burden on future generations, had made “the scales fall from your eyes”, and “made you see the light”.
I was recently given a link to Nick Rowe’s post and to your post by someone, and belatedly responded to Nick Rowe at his blog. I think my argument refutes Rowe’s argument, and by extension your argument. Perhaps you could have a look at it and let me know what you think.

Phillippe,
We really argued that one more than any single topic I can remember. You might be right and Nick/I might be wrong, but I don’t have the stamina to look at it right now.
I see you are making the point that Nick’s argument doesn’t work with money. Well, I made the argument using money (not apples) in this essay, so you can see if it’s more compelling there.
Philippe
I too refuted Bob in a series of posts.

Bobby knowledged he needed to reply and promise to give one he still has not. I suggest you not hold your breath.
Well, Bob does have a day job …
I suppose that’s why he posted only a limited number of mistaken posts on OLG.
Shit, with the amount of time that you, LK, MF, and a few others spend on here, you just may even convince DK that the “welfare state” is a real problem.
I suggest you not hold your breath.
I don’t see where Bob suggested he do so.
Philipe to have a price increase of 10% you need more money in the economy. Where did the government got the extra 10USD to give to A?
If it takes it in taxes from someone else to give to A prices can’t rise. If it prints it then obviously the government defaults via inflation on it.
“If it prints it then obviously the government defaults via inflation on it.”
And it’s still taken from those that possess money…
Right. It always taxes purchasing power.
Ms. Lawrence starred in “Winter’s Bone” in 2010 about the joys of living in the Ozarks in November with an extended family of meth cookers vs. The Drug War.
The Wikipedia article gives away the surprise happy ending.
