The Master Plan

Big Brother 7 Comments

In preparation for a presentation Carlos Lara and I gave at the recent Infinite Banking Concept (IBC) Think Tank, our go-to guy on all technical matters, John Connolly, found some really cool footage in the national archives. I asked John to cull out the promotional stuff and just show the historical footage. They were trying to stop it back then:

Great video. I actually watched the entire thing.

  2. Caleb says:

    As did I.

At what point do I feel sorry that “The Road To Serfdom” is practically like a second bible to me?

  3. Greg Ransom says:

How is it that Bob Murphy shows up advocating central planning in a 1950s film?

Now I am frightened. The Plan is evidently more far more complex and sinister than I could have imagined.

    • Bob Murphy says:

You’re right Greg, I hadn’t thought of that. Now you all know that I don’t age. Draw your own inferences.

      • Brian Shelley says:

Revealing that you are, in fact, undead seems like a cogent point in your Sunday posts. You might want to play that card next time.

        • Bob Murphy says:

Well I know I was bitten by that vampire–I remember it like it was yesterday–but I couldn’t convince a panel of particle physicists about it right now. So it never really happened, if you think about it like that.

Here’s a better line for the Master Plan Party:

In endorsing the Constitution our loyal opposition has already endorsed a master plan. Every president since Washington has endorsed this master plan. Indeed all public officials are sworn to protect the Master Plan. Being committed to this master plan it is our duty to perfect the plan and interpret it correctly. Under the constitution there is no dispute about whether we need this government to manage our vital affairs, the only question before us is how to accomplish this in the most efficient and equitable manner. The opposition speaks of freedom but freedom from the will of the people would render the constitution meaningless since it only claims legitimacy through being the will of “We The People”.

The branches of government exist for no other reason than to implement, refine, and extend the Master Plan. The loyal opposition advise that we should limit government – that we should do less. But why would we even have a legislature if the Master Plan were complete? Clearly it us left to We The People to carry the great Master Plan of our founders to it’s logical and inevitable conclusion.
