Oh Gosh

Am I missing some kind of pun or something? Or does Selgin actually have an academic working paper that starts with “Oh Dear”?

I am prepared to withdraw my objection if he’s being a wiseguy (as he’s been known to do) regarding something in the Bagus/Howden paper. I skimmed the title and abstract of their paper and don’t see anything that he’s obviously riffing on.

Let us say he did to them what you and Gene did to argumentation ethics.

Except that we didn’t title our paper, “Oh Hans.”

And what’s funny scineram is that I can’t tell if you’re praising or condemning me. 🙂

Your paper rocked. As does his.

You should have titled that “Oh Hans”.

I couldn’t help but hearing the voice of the computer from Courage the Cowardly Dog. “Oh, dear” it would say with a posh British accent in the most condescending and chiding tone imaginable. “Better have some hair of the mole that bit you”

If Scineram’s summary is correct, it couldn’t be more appropriate.

“Of course you’re wrong about basic monetary theory, twit.” God, now I’m going to read that paper and laugh nonstop…
