You know, I think I’ve turned a corner. I beat the shit out of some Paul Ryan wannabes today in my NYT column. But it was for a purpose. It made me feel good about myself. It was like I did something constructive with my life or something, I dunno, like I accomplished something.

But not more important if the poor are fed *and* if Jimmy gets a new train, am I right, comrades?

Some economist – ignoring the basic laws of supply and demand. Santa-themed articles are plentiful in December, but are quite rare in June!
Santa appears to be a rich guy who likes to do charity work. If he gets maximum utility from satisfying the requests from kids letters isn’t it totally his call, and thus the current setup IS the efficient market outcome ?
But I do wonder about his respect for property rights. One year he drank a glass of wine and ate a mince pie that I had left by the fireplace.
How exactly did he ‘drink a glass of wine’? Did the glass melt in his hand? Did it not then burn his esophagus? Did you ferment the glass to produce glass wine? Please try to think before posting more of your drivel on Dr. Murphy’s blog.
My video footage just showed him picking it up, putting the glass and the wine in a silver tankard, heating it on the fire, and then downing it in one.
Then he left so I have no idea of any ill effects on his health.
