Jim Carrey Exposes the NWO

Big Brother, Conspiracy 6 Comments

This is brilliant. If people in the audience think conspiracy theories about the New World Order (NWO) etc. are ridiculous, then this is a mildly amusing comedy bit. If they think those things are true, then Jim Carrey is a hero who is doing what little he can (without putting himself in mortal peril) to raise the alarm.

Sort of what I’ve done in this post, except, without the comedy.

I think he’s just mocking conspiracy theorists who warn of the Illuminati goal of turning us into consumerists, but doing so using consumerist technology?

Given his political leanings (consistently pro gun control since his time in stand-up [good impersonator, by the way], for example – except when his movie characters use them), I would guess he even thinks that conspiracy theorists are Right-wing, even though “anti-consumerism” is a Left-wing position.

    Hilarious!

Well he got one thing right. They surely gather in the woods in middle of the night naked and build a circle..

  3. Enopoletus Harding says:

Jim Carrey is probably a conspiracy theorist given his anti-vaccine leanings.

  4. Josiah says:

You’ve got it backwards, Bob. Jim Carey is a paid government agent and this clip is all about delegitimizing conspiracy theories about the NWO by making them seem like a big joke.

    • Bob Murphy says:

      Right, there’s that angle too.

    • Major.Freedom says:

Ah but we all know you are a paid government agent, and your snarky comment is all about delegitimizing the delegitimizing sarcasm about the NWO by joking about joking about it. By joking about joking about it, it would appear as though joking about it is all there is, when clearly not all joking about it is funny.
