Iowa Is Very Important, Unless Ron Paul Wins

Conspiracy, Ron Paul 9 Comments

This is funny. You don’t even have to be a conspiratorial Paulbot (or -tard, or whatever) to make this leap: They are actually saying it themselves. In that respect, the clips from 2008 are superfluous.

That is what I love about the internet and what the establishment absolutely hates about it: it shows how full of crap they are.

  2. Lampscape says:

Ron Paul isn’t going to win. Daniel Kuehn has made sure of that, and we all know how influential he is around the flying cow blogosphere. If you’re looking for a candidate that won’t be absolutely terrible for America and all those affect by its foreign policy, then reelecting Obama is a much more appealing and realistic option than voting for a man who would veto the NDAA or SOPA.

Great, now you have a way to make a quick ~40% return, since the market is only pricing his chance at 30% as of this post.

(Though you do need either an intrade account or a dude who will broker the bet there for you.)

Silas, maybe you are just playing along with his joke, but Lampscape was being sarcastic.

if iowas not important and shouldnt be taking seriously for supporting ron paul, does that mean we shouldnt take the troops seriously for supporting him? id love to see the talking heads wade their way through that one

  4. James E. Miller says:

You gotta love the tone of Chris Matthews’ voice. He really does get his jollies from the very thought of Obama. I wonder if his wife gets jealous?

    Brilliant.

I love how the obvious conclusion of “If Iowans take Ron Paul seriously” is “…Then maybe we shouldn’t take Iowa seriously”, as if “…Then maybe we should take Ron Paul seriously” isn’t even a logical possibility.

Good thing we have the Internet to keep track of these old copyrighted news clips… at least until SOPA/PIPA passes and is signed by a President who we can take seriously 🙂

This video would have been a lot more interesting if they used the same people in the before and after. All this video shows is that different people have different opinions. Unless I missed someone, it was only Chris Matthews and Stuart Rothenberg that flipped flopped. Maybe there’s other examples out there, but the point wasn’t really proven well in this video.
