“Hey Bob, Your Blog Is Down!”

All Posts 16 Comments

Yes, I had noticed. (The funny thing is, I could determine how big a fan you were, based on how many days went by before you noticed and emailed me.)

I am in the process of moving to a different host. I’ll tell the whole sordid tale once that is down. The URL will still be the same, it’s just that a different company will be hosting it. My understanding is, there might be another interruption while the intertube waves propagate through the ether after the switch, or something like that.

Actually, I’m such a big fan, I found out on Facebook.

Actually, I tried to warn you very early on through Callahan’s blog by pointing out that the flying cows were attacking your site again…lol.

I was guessing that the Koch brothers bought your service provider, and yada yada yada, your site went down.

I was more starved of your blog than the European banks were of liquidity. Oh, wait, that’s not quite right, is it?

Now you’re making me feel guilty for not emailing you!

Actually I keep up with you on google reader, so without any posts coming in I just figured it was your busy December you mentioned on FB.

The return of the most evil blog ever!

Query: With the Government so apparently focused on shutting you down, how on earth did you get the blog back up?

    • Joseph Fetz says:

My guess: He got a bunch of emails telling him his blog was back up and to “post something”. Then, he posted something.

      • Jack the Ripper says:

A literal description of the process, sure, but how did Bob avoid getting shut down “for” an FTC violation?

  7. Silas Barta says:

I missed seeing your posts and being able to have nice, civilized exchanges with the Fed shills here.

    • Dan says:

I actually became a Fed shill without his points to keep me in line.

Very unfair!!! I did type out a message, was about to click on send and then thought “Hey!! He said he is going to be busy and hence blogging sparsely, didn’t he?”

And then there are the cultural issues…. 😀

In any case, missed your blog badly. Good to have it back up again.

Looking forward to the “sordid tale,” especially because I’m still on the same host and often experiencing what seems to be slow page loads recently, but sunk costs and inertia are keeping me here for now. Please don’t tell us you got the big message because your site got too popular or something.
