JFK, Blown Away, What Else Do I Have to Say?

All Posts 24 Comments

Viresh Amin sends this very interesting snippet. Does anyone know what the official response to this is?

Incidentally, I did a decent amount of research over the summer and concluded that there was more than one shooter. I’m not saying I have a theory as to who shot JFK, just that I am confident the official story is bogus.

I will write up my case at some point, but it will take a lot of my time. I have to get someone to take a diagram from a book and translate it into a computer shot, etc.

Bob, you've read Final Judgment, by Michael Collins Piper (that identifies the Mossad as being behind the shooting), right?

  2. Bob Murphy says:

Nope. I'm not saying I am an expert on the topic, just that I did enough research to convince myself that there was more than one shooter. My main sources were Six Seconds in Dallas, Case Closed (for the other side), and the Warren Report.

  3. andy says:

Bob, have you looked into 911 at all? The amount of evidence available concerning 911 dwarfs that of JFK.

    Have a gander sometime.

    Next up.

Bob investigates who really gave birth to Trig …

  5. Al-girta says:

If there was another shooter he didn’t fire his weapon.

Take it to court andy. Sue someone should be a piece of cake.

Any good leads on how they faked Obama's Hawaiian "certificate of live birth"?

  7. Bob Murphy says:

    Greg,

I just want to make sure I understand what your point is, beneath the sarcasm. You're saying that somebody who thinks JFK wasn't killed by a lone gunman, automatically believes every conspiracy theory pertaining to US events?

You don't think it's a little bit weird that someone ordered the Secret Service guys off the back of Kennedy's car–in a move that clearly perplexed at least one of them–which just so coincidentally allowed Kennedy to get hit from the rear shooter?

  8. James Rothfeld says:

What rear shooter???? You're not talking about the head moving forward after being shot from the front? Take a gun, a water melon, and shoot into the melon. See where it moves to. Physics can be interesting.

  9. Bob Murphy says:

    James,

What are you talking about? The Warren Report says Oswald shot him from behind:

According to the Warren Commission and the House Select Committee on Assassinations, as President Kennedy waved to the crowds on his right with his right arm upraised on the side of the limo, a shot entered his upper back, penetrated his neck, slightly damaged a spinal vertebra and the top of his right lung, exited his throat nearly centerline just beneath his Adam's apple, then nicked the left side of his suit tie knot. He then raised his arms and clenched fists around his head and neck, then leaned forward and towards his left….Governor Connally also reacted after the same bullet penetrated his back creating an oval entry wound, impacted and destroyed four inches of his right, fifth rib bone, exited his chest just below his right nipple creating a two-and-a-half inch oval sucking-air chest wound, then entered just above his right wrist, impacted and cleanly fractured his right wrist bone, exited just below the wrist at the inner side of his right palm, and entered his left inner thigh….

According to the Warren Commission, a second shot struck at Zapruder film frame 313…when the Presidential limousine was passing in front of the John Neely Bryan north pergola concrete structure …. They each concluded that this shot entered the rear of President Kennedy's head…then exploded out a roughly oval sized hole from his head's rear and right side.

It is the conspiracy theorists who are saying there must have been shots coming not just from behind.

You seem to be saying the opposite, that only a nutjob conspiracy theorist could believe there was a rear shooter.

    (Sorry if I'm misunderstanding you.)

  10. James Rothfeld says:

Mea maxima culpa. I actually goofed here. I never can keep straight where the shots came from, partially because i almost don't care about who killed that fool. Ignore what I said. Bah. I'll stick to economics and religion for the future.

  11. James Rothfeld says:

Now I actually DO think that the footage IS interesting. Hm. I'll keep an eye on this from time to time.

  12. Robert Wenzel says:

    Bob,

I had a client, for a long time, who was president of a Texas bank. Early on in his career he was a Texas Ranger. I posted on this once at EPL but have not seen anything on it anywhere else.

The day Kennedy was killed, he was in uniform in downtown Dallas when his group of Rangers got the call to standown because "everything was under control and they wouldn't be needed."

  13. Greg says:

Bob — I'm just having fun with you.

I basically believe the _Case Closed_ analysis, and believe there was plenty of time for someone as skilled as Oswald to kill Kennedy from such short range.

I've taught "the fallacy of conspiracies" in critical thinking, and many of the classic problems arise in this case.

  14. Beefcake the Mighty says:

"I basically believe the _Case Closed_ analysis, and believe there was plenty of time for someone as skilled as Oswald to kill Kennedy from such short range."

What is the basis for your claim that Oswald was a skilled marksman?

  15. Greg says:

Arlin Specter — yes, that dim bulb — was the lead investigator and central author of the Warren Report, and he's the idiot who came up with the unnecessary and idiot "magic bullet" nonsense.

If there is a conspiracy, a key part of the conspiracy included getting this idiot Specter into a key position on the Warren Report team.

Who was Specter's contact in the conspiracy?

  16. Beefcake the Mighty says:

"Who was Specter's contact in the conspiracy?"

Probably the Mossad's fifth column in the US. But, again I ask: why do you believe Oswald was a good shot?

  17. James Rothfeld says:

Beefcake, Oswald must have been a good shot to have killed Kennedy from that distance. I think you'll have to accept that as a given for the time being. Besides, did you ever watch Full Metal Jacket? 😉

But, seriously – it IS possible to hit somebody from that window with a rifle. You have to be a good shot to do that, but it is not physically impossible.

  18. Greg says:

Oswald had excellent marksman scores in the Army.

I've seen the score and I've seen them discussed by experts on the topic.

  19. Beefcake the Mighty says:

"Oswald had excellent marksman scores in the Army."

Uh, Oswald was in the Marines, not the Army. Are you saying he receied his marksmanship training in the Army? Or are you just a plant?

  20. Beefcake the Mighty says:

    FWIW, from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Harvey_Oswald,

"While in the Marines, Oswald was trained in the use of the M1 Garand rifle. Following that training, he was tested in December 1956, and obtained a score of 212,[13] which was 2 points above the minimum for qualifications as a sharpshooter. In May 1959, on another range, Oswald scored 191,[13] which was 1 point over the minimum for ranking as a marksman.[20]"

Can anyone comment on whether these scores are any good?

  21. Greg says:

    Yeh, the Marines.

My brain fart doesn't change Oswald's ability with a rifle.

Watch the History channel episode on the Kennedy killing and the various conspiracy theories surrounding it from last December or January.

You'll see a picture of his score card, and analysis by insiders.

  22. KMusselman36 says:

Reading through George Carlin's 'Last Words' he mentions the same dolt cop that busts him, his wife and George Burns in Chicago as a 'renegade' killing squad traveling the country also interviewed Oswald following the shooting. I think theres more work to be done on this topic, sounds like the paper would be a nice read.
