You give credence to Hoover's claim that he did more to fight the depression than any previous president in US history. I thought the Depression started under Hoover's watch and ended under FDR. Previous presidents did not do much to fight the depression because there was no depression under their watch. Am I going crazy? Please clarify for me what I'm missing.
